Transport from or to Madrid Airport by Bus

Information on how you can take or take off from Barajas Airport by bus to the city of Madrid.

 

The Línea Exprés that is in the transport interchange Atocha-Renfe (metro stop Atocha RENFE) is in the center of town (near the famous Paseo del Arte, where are located the main museums: Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum and Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza) connects to the Madrid-Barajas airport in just 40 minutes without traffic.

Línea Exprés line stops at T1 (Arrivals), T2 (arrivals) and T4 (arrivals)

The schedule is 365 days per year, 24 hours. The frequency is 15 minutes during the day and 35 minutes at night. IMPORTANT. The station Atocha-Renfe not work between 23:30pm to 6:00am. During this time, the bus stop you have to go to the airport is in the Plaza de Cibeles, where you can connect with all nighttime bus lines of the EMT.

A single ticket cost 5euros and is payable in cash to the driver on the bus, carrying the suitcase is free

LINE 200

The bus 200 communicates Terminates T1, T2, T3 and T4 Barajas airport to Avenida de America where  can connect with other urban or interurban lines of the Madrid metro.

The schedule of this bus from 5:00 am to 23:30 pm the frequency is 13 to 15 minutes.

The single ticket cost  1.50 Euros is valid only for a trip and payable on the bus. There is another fee that is 12 Euros and is valid for travel 10 times in the metro within Zone A, in the EMT buses (Except for light rail and airport express line).

LINE 101

Line 101 connects T1, T2 and T3 Barajas with Canillejas intermodal area, can be connected with city buses, intercity buses and the Metro de Madrid

The bus stops at T1 (arrivals and departures) T2 (arrivals and departures)

The fee is 1.50 Euros is valid only for a trip and bought on the bus. There is another fee that is 12 Euros and is valid for travel 10 times in the metro within Zone A, in the EMT buses (Except for light rail and airport express line)

The functioning time is 6:00 a.m. to 11:25 p.m. and the frequency is 14 to 16 minutes.
